Isophytol is a diterpenoid eicosapentene tertiary alcohol composed of four isoprene molecules connected to each other, and the pure isophytol is a colorless oily liquid. Combustible, insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ketone and other organic solvents, is the main raw material for the production of vitamin E.
